After a failed attempt at stopping a psychotic and sadistic villain, Jet and Amelie (otherwise known as the heroes Jet and Lady Guillotine) find themselves ditching their costumes and retreating to a safe-house they'd prepared just in case something went wrong.
In this case, everything went wrong.
They now realize, far too late, that their safe-house wasn't as safe as they'd thought it was. Only seconds after the door closed behind them, they were ambushed by fifteen of the city's greatest villains. The two heroes tried to fight them off, but they were completely overpowered by the combined talents of the underworld's elite.
Ultimately, the duo found themselves hogtied within an inch of their lives and gagged with just about everything that could be found, all held together by far too much tape. While they struggled in vain, the ambush's mastermind entered the building...
